If you are outside the USA and it is determined that your camera needs to get serviced, your fastest solution is usually to take your camera back to your place of purchase for a replacement. That is why we encourage you to purchase your Contour camera from a retailer in your country.
If you have purchased your Contour camera from a USA retailer and live outside the USA the only option for a replacement may be to ship the defective unit to us in USA after contacting support. This is a trade-off when buying from the USA rather than locally. If you buy locally, you can take advantage of the agreement we have in place with our retailers. They represent us for warranty issues, partly to avoid unnecessary international freight and customs charges. Although buying from the USA can sometimes be cheaper, the trade-off is that cameras with warranty issues have to be shipped directly to us instead of being handled locally.
