Problems with Status Button

Hi, I just purchased a contour ROAM. I just went through the set up process today and updated the firmware to the most up to date version. Everything seems to be working as expected, however, the status button does not show any status lights on the top. Also, it does not show any laser alignment. I tried to reset my contour following the process on another forum thread, and that did not seem to work. What else can I do to fix this? Thanks so much.

Thanks for contacting Contour Technical Support. I'm sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your camera.

If you have the ContourROAM2, then you may just have the settings on the camera set to that the lights and laser do not come on. To change this, connect the camera to the computer and open Storyteller.

Then select Tools -> Configure Camera. Click on the Position 1 tab on the left and then select Camera Lights on the top. Now you can change the behavior of the lights.

If you have the original ContourROAM, these are not configurable and the camera will need to get replaced if it is still under warranty. In that case your fastest solution may be to take your camera back to your place of purchase for a replacement. If that does not work for you, please send me the information below and I will start the RMA process to replace your camera from here.
