The Connect View card is only required when pairing your ContourGPS or Contour+ camera over bluetooth to your Apple iOS devices. It is not required when connecting to Android devices.
While the Contour+ comes with the Connect View card already installed, the ContourGPS does not. You will need to purchase it separately if you plan to use the ContourGPS with your Apple iOS device over bluetooth.
