CONTOUR

One of the unique features to some of the Contour cameras is the ability to capture GPS data while recording a movie. In order to display that data we had to also create special software. YouTube, Vimeo, other video sharing sites do not have the ability to read and display the GPS data contained within our movies, so they will ignore that data and only show the video itself.

To see the GPS data and maps, you will want to use StoryTeller or upload the movie to our website.

There is one other program you can use to display the GPS data. It is called Dashware and you can read more about it here. Note: Contour does not make Dashware nor can we directly support it. Please contact Dashware support for help using their program.
